Booking terms

When I've checked the diary I'll send you the price on WhatsApp or by email and hold the date for you for 3 days. Nothing is booked, and nothing is owed, until you pay.

• A deposit of about 50% of the price secures the date. It's rounded so the rest is a round number. Or you can pay the whole thing up front, and it's £50 off.
• You pay online by card, on Stripe's secure page. I never see your card details.
• The rest is paid in cash on the night.

There's no deposit and no cash on the night. Once I've confirmed the date I invoice you, and it's due within 7 days after the night. If you need to cancel:

• Cancel more than 28 days before the event and the invoice is cancelled, with nothing to pay.
• Between 7 and 28 days, there's a £100 cancellation fee instead of the invoice.
• Inside 7 days the invoice stands, as it's too late to fill the date.
• If I ever have to cancel on you, the invoice is cancelled. No exceptions.
• Moving the date is free at any notice, as long as I'm free on the new one.

Refunds are of what you've actually paid: the deposit if that's all that's gone through, or everything you paid if you paid up front. Cancel and there's nothing further to pay. The reason I can't refund at short notice is that I'll have turned other work away for your date, and there isn't time to fill it again.
